Looking ahead to the conclusion of the 1990's metal band Linkin Park was formed in Agoura, California, and was appointed to the Lincoln Park in Santa Monica near his recording studio. Although Los Angeles has produced internationally successful acts that not many in the 2000s, the city retains its importance as a center of rock music, rap, and the music industry in general.
